Print this reportUnexpected Reboot of the Network Switch in the Electronics Room During Switch RenamingWhile setting the names of the network switches, I noticed that the response from the network switch installed in the electronics room was slow. Shortly afterward, I realized that the MEDM display on k1mo11 had disappeared. After checking the uptime, it was found that the network switch in the electronics room had rebooted.
However, when setting the names on other switches, no reboot occurred, and the reason why this issue happened only on the electronics room switch is unclear. One possible factor may be that the temperature of the upstream optical transceiver of this network switch had reached 40 degrees.
At present, the network connectivity has been restored, and the display on k1mon11 has also recovered. However, the network switch renaming work scheduled for today was suspended partway through.

Print this reportFollowing up on last week’s maintenance work, I continued with the network switch configuration changes. All configuration updates for the PoE switches have been completed. The remaining few units will be handled during the next scheduled maintenance day.
