Expected improvement of inspiral range by mitigating of bump or line noise

Based on the request by Ushiba-san, I computed the expected improvement of inspiral range, if we could mitigating of several bump or line noise on the current sensitivity. The previous work is klog31370. The results and jupyter notebook were uploaded in JGWdoc.

Summary

  • I used the data of 2025/02/21 around 6:55~8:00 UTC. The timing is almost same as klog32773.
  • By assuming the noise improvement over several frequency bands, I tried to compute the improvement in the several data set and obtained the 8~16% improvement of the inspiral range in each data set.
    • The large improvements can be seen in 76 ~ 91 Hz (+4.6%, less investigation until now?), 111 ~ 134 Hz (+5%, related to the jitter noise), and 158 ~ 199 Hz (+3.8%, violin mode)

This is memo of the discussion with Ushiba-san. The noise source in 76 ~ 91 Hz seems to be related with the DARM control (klog32675). So, there is a possibility to improve this frequency band by replacing the coil driver.
