Comment to Installation of OMC stack (29973)

[Aso, Washimi, Ito, Takahashi]

We adjusted the optics on the optical bench in the OMC chamber.

  1. Adjusted the height of the optical bench. Since the stack top was higher than the prediction, the support bolts in the optical bench to link the stack legs were drawn up so that the bench bottom could touch the stack leg directly. Then the support bolts were projected from the bench top. We gave up to use the bolt under the OMMT1 suspension. Finally, the measured height of the optical bench with the laser leveler was consistent with the last measurement.
  2. Closed the chamber with the bell jar. The O-ring was replaced.
  3. Installed the OMMT1 suspension. Three people pushed up the suspension from the outside of the chamber and one person pulled up it from inside the chamber. Since one of the markers for the positioning of the suspension was loose, we compared the position with the photo taken before the removal.
  4. Moved the OSTM suspension near the side hatch to adjust the OSEMs. The TM, IM, IRM, and bellows springs were released. Both the in-vacuum cables and the outer cables were connected.
  5. Released the TM, IM, IRM, and bellows springs. The black panel at Y- was removed to adjust the OSEMs.
  6. Installed the magnet dampers for the OMC suspension.
