Summary

Tried to connect cables to picomotors and piezo actuators on the two steering mirrors installed on the POP table in the other day (see 17825). Still on the way.

What I learnt

• In my opinion, it would be better to locate the piezo drivers outside of the wind shield structure. On the top of this structure. Then, the the cabling between the driver and the piezos will be easier.
• Need 2-m long BNC cables to connect the piezo drivers to the piezo actuators. Now we have 3, so at least 3 pcs more for POP. (for POS, +6 pcs) Today I just for a trial lay the cable and fixed it, and connect to one of the piezo actuator of a mirror (Figs. 1 and 2)
• Need tech persons help to lay 10-m long cables to connect the BNC board to the piezo drivers inside the clean booth. Today I just for atrial lay two of these cables and just gave up (Fig. 3).
• Need to consider the power supply taps for the piezo drivers. Moreover, I found that some power supply taps are float... their ground are not connected. Is this setup intentionally???

Let's revisit this work later, hopefully together with tech people and MIF people (if any).
