Summary: We calibrated the SF LVDT.
First we tested the polarity of the LVDT: moving the keystone up by hand produces a positive LVDT output. This means that the calibration factor in the medm screen should be positive. In the plot attached the slope is negative because the reference point used was above the keystone.
- Slope of the straight line: -4168.1 cnt/mm
- Calibration factor for the medm screen: (1000 / 4168.1) um/cnt = 0.240 um/cnt.
