Pitch picomotor pin exchange.

With Hirata-san.

Very brief summary: the pitch picomotor is working.

Following the problem with the picomotor cable explained in entry 18164, we decided to exchange pins 1 and 6 at the adapter connecting the in-air cable to the picomotor driver.

  • Yokozawa-san aligned the oplev (18173), so we went ahead with using it and we didn't use the OSEMs.
  • The initial position indicated by the tilt QPD was around 0.06 QPD-du (not counts). The unit QPD-du stands for QPD displacement unit.
  • The pitch picomotor and the IM moved. Please see the screenshot. We also were able to hear the noise of the picomotor moving from outside.
  • We moved back the mirror to 0.03 QPD-du.

With respect to the direction of the motion, when the picomotor moves "forward" as indicated in the medm screen, the mass inside of the IM moves towards the HR side. According to Hirata-san, this is consistent with PR2.
