Measurement of the movable range of the stepper motor of PR2 GAS (SF, BF)

I first powered up the PR2 stepper motor from the MEDM and started Script, but Script did not work with a connection error.
I went to the KAGRA site to check the connection status of the PR2, but unfortunately the PR2 had no cables connected at all.
I connected the power supply, network cable, PR2 GAS (SF, BF), and relay switch to the motor driver.

I went back to Mozumi to make measurements, but did not have much time to finish the work.
I made the following checks.

I moved the motor of PR2 GAS SF by +50 steps and checked the change in value.
Since we read the data by eye, the values were much different from what we expected due to noise.
We would like to do it again next week.

[What I noticed].

  • K1:VIS-PP2_BF_LVDTINF_{V1,V2,V3,H1,H2,H3}_INMON is very noisy when the stepper motor is turned on.

            K1:VIS-PR2_BF_DAMP_{L,V,P,T,R,Y}_INMON is also affected.

  • It is difficult to measure with about 1[um] of movement, next time I will try with about 10[um] (500[step]).

SF GAS FR:
SF is almost linear as far as we checked.
However, the stepper motor should have moved about 20.0 mm, but K1:VIS-PR2_SF_LVDTINF_GAS_OUTPUT was about 4.6 mm, and
K1:VIS-PR2_BF_DAMP_V_INMON moved about 2.4 mm.

BF GAS FR:
The linear range was -5mm to +11.7mm. Also, below about -5mm, the advance reversed and there was abnormal movement.
Also, from +11.7mm and above, the tilt became gentle.
The stepper motor should have moved about 16.7mm, but the K1:VIS-PR2_BF_LVDTINF_GAS_OUTPUT moved about 9.4mm.
