Today we installed one of Harmonic Generators to IOO1 rack, and roughly checked the basic operations.
1. Increased the current limit of +18 V supply for IOO by 3A, and increased the voltage of it by ~ +1V to compensate voltage fall caused by increased current. The Harmonic generator consumes ~ 2.3 A.
We also increased the voltage of -18 V supply a bit, since it was a little bit less than -18 V. Now both levels of the voltage are ~ 18.5 V after turning of the Harmonic Generator.
2. Switched it on.
3. Looked at each output and the frequency seems fine.
4. Combined 2x f1 and 30x fimc with a mixer and processed the output of the mixer with LPFs, to make 3x f2 (see the first picture).
3x f2 (135MHz) was produced indeed, but it seems to have other frequency components (see the second picture).
We will check it in frequency region.
IOO1 rack currently looks like this (see the third and fourth picture).
