SR2 SF GAS LVDT Calibration

Tuesday 03.06 with Mark and Hirata-san.

  • We adjusted the SF yoke to 6 [mm] abobe the baseplate. Before it was at 13-14[mm].
  • We set the keystone to 65.5 [mm] on the -L side. Then it was at 65.7 [mm] on the +T side and 65.6 [mm] on the +L side. This means is level enough.
  • We completed the calibration of the SF GAS LVDT.

Offset: 4740 [ctn]

Calibration Factor: 1/(11067.09 [cnt/mm]) = 0.0904[µm/cnt]

And then we set the offset and the calibration factor into the INPUT FILTER Block and we took an Snapshot.

We measured the SF Stepper motor physical position (height) [mm] in terms of number of steps.

The result is -51412 [steps/mm]. It can be seen in the first figure. (sr2sfstepper20180306)

And we measured the usable range og the SF Keystone with the SF Stepper motor. This is by how much the keystone can be moved in terms of number of steps given to the SF Stepper motor. We present the raw data of this measurement and the usable range with the approximate curve.
