Today, we tested how the Si-diodes for measuring the temperature are being fixed on the baffle and discussed the best distribution of them on the baffle (see picture 1 & 2)
- fixing by using a piece of Indium went without any problems
- The cable can just loosly be go toward the lower part of the suspension frame where one fixing point should be enough for a sufficient vibration isolation (the wire is very light and thin)
Obuchi-san also glued the heater-stripes on two pieces of Aluminum. They will be placed on the bottom side of the baffle flanges where also the heat-links will be mounted.
However, fixing the heat-links at one point on the suspension structure properly, remains an issue. We could fix a link for testing somehow (with a steel wire and a protection sheet of Aluminum, see picture 3) but it turned out to be not sufficient in terms of vibration isolation. For that, the fixing should be far more rigid but with the wire it was impossible to tighten it any further. A possible alternative now may be to use a cable tie instead of a wire.
