On September 30, we opened the -Y-side flange of the EXC cryostat for an internal inspection of the EXC.
We then carried out preparatory work to enter the EXC.
We attached a protective sheet to the opened side flange to prevent dust from entering.

We temporarily closed the side flange on the -Y side of the EXC.
After completing the tightening work, we cleaned up the area around the EXC clean booth.
The cleanup work included removing compressed air cylinders for venting to atmosphere in EXC and flexible piping for the duct-shield cryocooler unit of TMSX side called Xer.
After performing a health check on the EXC suspension, we will tighten the side flange mounting bolts to the specified torque. We then plan to begin evacuating the EXC.
