Tightness check of the anchor bolts securing the legs of the OMMT and OMC
Work Date: 2024/10/21
Workers:Kimura, Yasui, Aso and Washimi

Abstract:
We checked the tightness of the anchor bolts securing the legs of the OMMT and OMC.
Two types of anchor bolts, M24 and M36, were used to fasten the legs.
We used a 100Nm torque wrench for the M24 bolts and a 300Nm torque wrench for the M36 bolts to check the tightness.
Some bolts were tightened about 1/10 of a turn.
Markings were made near each bolt for future reference.

The attached plot shows the trend of the OMC QPDs during the tightening of the bolts.

I moved the OMMT2/OSTM picos once in Yaw to center the beams (between -9min and -10min).
Other than that, the beams remained within the QPD apertures.

After the work was finished (around -6min), I centered QPDs with picos.
