In order to suppress the pressure increase in TMSY, we installed an interlock circuit in the #38 pumping unit and restarted the TMP. This restart of the TMP increased the pumping capacity around the EYC.
The time required to install the interlock circuit and restart the TMP was from 13:35 to 15:55.
During the wiring of the power supply for the interlock circuit, a defect in the insulation covering of the power supply wiring of the EYT pressure gauge was discovered.
(See attached the first photo)
This defect is presumed to be due to the fact that when the insulation covering of the wiring material was removed, the knife's depth of cut was deeper than specified, exposing the conductor of the wiring material to the outside.
Therefore, we re-installed the power wiring of the EYT pressure gauge.
The modification of the power supply wiring of the EYT pressure gauges was performed with the operation of the pressure gauges stopped.
Therefore, no pressure gauge data was recorded during the wiring correction.
