Routed the cables for WFSf3
- Routed four D-sub cables from the whitening filters of mini-rack to ADCs of IOO1 rack.
- Routed two D-sub cables from the RFQPD interface of IOO0 rack to ADCs of IOO1 rack.
- The four D-sub cables were routed from the whitening filters of mini-rack to ADCs of IOO0 rack when klog29281. I changed the ADC used, so we removed them and re-routed them from mini-rack to IOO1 rack.
Prepared for WFSf3 optics installation in MIFREFL table
- In klog29281, we routed the SMA and D-sub cables close to the REFL table. This time, I routed to the inside of the table. (FIG1)
- Attached peak washers(PEW-0612-16) to the screws there on the WFSf3 RFQPDs.
- Connected the WFSf3 RFQPDs and the cables on the table. The RFQPDs were just placed without installation.
- The REFLWFS shutter controller was placed near "pico1" mirror on the REFL table. We moved it to the top shelf in the REFL table. (FIG2)
- Placed the PZTs for WFSf3 on the ceiling of REFL table.(FIG3)
Note:
When moving the REFLWFS shutter controller, we unplugged the cable of the shatter controller.
After placing the shatter controller and re-plaging the cable, the shatter did not work properly,
We checked to make sure the shutter controller key and the setting, but could not find the cause of the stuck shutter. Somehow it worked during the process.
It works fine now. But if it is pulled out or re-plugged in again, it may happen that it doesn't work.
When discussing this with others, they told me this opinion. Since it is a controller for 0.5 inch and connected to the shutter for 1 inch, the current value may not be enough.
However Thorlab's shutter controller for 1 inch is big, so it may be difficult to placed near the REFL table.
