ETMY photosensor investigation and partial recovery

[Tamaki, Ushiba]

Abstract:

ETMY H2 photosensors and V3 photosensors seem recovered but ETMY H3 photosensor seems still wrong.
Also, current cabling is not good but it takes a time to fix all of them, so it is better to discuss we need to fix them all or just keep as they are.

Detail:

We investigated MN photosensors and found that one of LED pins of MNH2 photosensors was touched to heat link wire (fig1).
Also, we checked MNV3 photosensors but no obvious problem was found.

After the work, we checked the spectra of photosensors (fig2).
Blue and red represent the spectra before and after the work.
H2 photosensor seems recovered and V3 photosensor noise is somehow reduced.
However, we found MNH3 photosensors have larger noise compared with the other sensors (In fact, it had been already worse before and somehow slightly recovered due to today's work...), so we need to check it at some point.

Additional information.

Currently, LED/PD legs are connected to leadwire with copper tubes as shown in fig1.
However, LED/PD legs are not cut before connecting to the copper pipes, so the legs are too long and easy to bent when applying force: this results the touch between heatlinks and LED.
Though wire is well clamped on the MNR and I hard to imagin the lead wires obtained strong force, it is better to cut the LED/PD legs properly to avoid bending of them but it takes a time...
