Tapping tests on EX/EY/IY

[X-end: Yokozawa, Yamazaki]
[Y-end: Washimi, Murakoshi]
[Control room: Ushiba, Yuzurihara, Suzuki, Ishikawa]
[Remote: Akutsu, Tomaru, and many people]

Today we performed the tapping test mainly X/Y-end and around IY.

We found the following excess (see also the plots).

  • TMSY (Leg, Table): 70-150 Hz
  • TMSX (Leg): ~140 Hz, ~280 Hz
  • TMSX (Cover): ~70 Hz, ~110Hz
  • EXT (Bellows leg): ~140 Hz
  • EYT (Bellows leg): ~80 Hz
  • Beam duct between IYC and BS: ~10 Hz, 30-40 Hz, ~70Hz

 

There was no  excess at

  • EXT/EYT chambers body
  • around EXC/EYC/IYC chambers (body, cryocoolers, ground, large flanges, booth frame, booth 2F, bellows, beam duct)
  • around EXA/EYA/IYA chambers (body, bellows, legs, ground, side flanges, beam duct)

I checked the PD and QPD signals during the tapping test at TMSY (Sorry, no ACC on the TMSY optical table)
No significant excess detected.

In most cases, IPC glitches occurred one sample before GPS seconds were divisible by 5.
