We performed the 2nd tapping test at the PSL room.
We tapped various places including the laser amp, laser rack, ceiling, electronics rack, near the AOM and PMC and so on.
I picked up four interesting results:
1. Tapping 2nd beam dumper(Fig.1.)
We obviously detect the resonant peak at 336 Hz
2. Tapping the beam duct for output (Fig.2.)
This was already reported in last tapping test, we also detected the excess.
3. Tapping the new HPL(Fig.3)
This also reported in last tapping test. We detected the excess.
Also, Miyakawa-san noticed the resonance like sound detected when he tapped.
Did we need the more screw?
4. Tapping the Box for current laser(Fig.4.)
This is new result that there were several excess frequency when we tapped the box for the current laser.
From lower frequency,
224, 293, 328, 336, 390, 403, 414, 422m 439, 464,477,498,502,508 Hz
If we have time, it would be better to perform the vibration injection test.
