[Yuzurihara, Yamamura]
We are trying to develop a tool to check "Gaussianity" of data.
The method is newly proposed.
What we did in this week
- succeeded to shorten the time of calculation.
- we removed “for loop” from the code, and tried to use parallelization.
- The calculation time got better 4.5 times.
- from 7.3 min to 1.6 min, for calculating an hour of strain data at LIGO.
- put the code on /users/yamamura/Gau_Work at k1det1.
- confirmed the code worked at k1det1.
- I attach the example result. Result is such a png image.
- (I used strain data but the interferometer was “Down” state at that time. This is just a test of the code.)
Future prospects
- make this to GUI tool.
- users will be able to run it at k1ctr workstation.
- now, there is an issue relative to "zenity".
- characterize the interferometer by using this tool on strain data.
