Mirror Cleaning

with Hirata-san, Fabian-san, Ikeda-san

We disassembled the SRM mirror, put it on its case, and then inspected its surface.

We borrowed two types of green light from CSC Biz Co., Ltd. and we tried to use them.

These lights works well and we could find some dust on both sides of the mirror, but most of them are removed by blowing the Top gun.

And then I applied the First Contact and put a peeling tab on each side.

We peeled off the FC on the SRM mirror and inspected that.

The straight side is completely clean and the wedge side is almost clean but there are some line-like stains on just its edge area.

After peeling off FC, I put mirror back to the mirror holder. (This mirror is SRM-W. transparent one.)

Assembling work was done between 2 table KOACH.

Arrow mark on the side of mirror was aligned with scratch line of holder. I tried to use laser leveler for align the direction, but if direction is not good, we will adjust again.

Mirror was fixed to holder by flanges with proper shims, and tighten by M3 screws.(use torque wrench 0.6 Nm).

I didn't weigh the mass. We will confirm it later.
