I applied the FC on the HR side of the PR3 mirror.

The method I took was the same one for AR, which means before putting a peeling tab I removed the jig and added additional FC, and then put two peeling tabs.

After applying, we cleaned inside the chamber using a wiper with EtOH, an air gun, and a vacuum cleaner.

Because we found stains located just under the right tab when we finally inspected the situation of the mirror using the green light, we applied additional FC on this area.

We are going to peel off both sides of FC next Monday, and we hope that even if FC residue still remains, it'll not have much affect.

We peeled off both sides of FC successfully and inspected the surface of the mirror using green light.

We were worried about the FC residue under the peeling tab, but there seems not to remain.

On the HR side, there is so much small dust or cracks still in its central area, and we couldn't remove the stain on the lower right we found last Friday.

FC couldn't clean these stains.

And the AR side also has some dust on its central area and some line-like stain on its right area, which seems to be FC or something.

In the afternoon, Miyoki-san inspected the surface of the mirror and judged that these stains were small enough to not matter.

So we released the suspension and finished this cleaning work.

According to photos taken by a camera, there are actually some shining spots and they can be recognized as relatively large spots. So we imagined they are stain like dity spots.

However, judging by eyeballs, they can be recognized as extremely tiny shining cores. So, I guess it was difficult to take photos with perfect focus and exposure as you experienced. For example the attached Img0204 shows some circular spots line at right side on the surface. They are actually remnants of FC. Img0195 shows several spots. They are recognized as tiny shining cores by eyeballs.
