I applied the First Contact on the full glass plate with jig. It takes about 2 hours to applied the first layer, today. |
The draft chamber has been repaired ( Takase-san intermediated this work ).
I trained to apply the First Contact especially on the edge site of the plate,
but some FC solution drip reached to the jig.
I trained to apply the First Contact on the glass plate.
When I had impatience, greed and exhaustion, the FC solution dripped down to the jig.
Yesterday, Aso-san showed me the SR2 and SR3 mirror. So I trained to apply the First Contact on the glass plate in a situation that mimics the SR2 AR side, using some obstacles. |
I trained to apply the First Contact, especially the first layer, on the glass plate.
I had training to apply the First Contact on the glass plate with the jig for BS so that I could train to apply the FC widely.
I applied the edge of the circle first, then applied from top down.
It took about two hours to apply one coat today, but I think it'll take more longer out of the draft.
I practiced applying the First Contact on the glass plate.
And I also tried to put a tab for peeling.
I continued with the practice of applying First Contact and putting a peeling tab.
I practiced applying the First Contact on the glass plate.
Recent FC couldn't peel off properly because a peeling tab didn't adhere to the edge.
So today, I carefully applied a layer of FC over the peeling tab.
The previous FC was successfully peeled off with a peeling tab.
Today I practiced applying the First Contact from a distance.
I practiced applying the First Contact on the glass plate, using the jig for BS.
I practiced applying First Contact to the full extent of the jig.
A few drops of FC dripped down to the slightly lower side of the jig,
and when I removed the jig, FC that had not solidified yet stretched from the jig to the glass surface.
I practiced applying First Contact to the full extent of the jig.
Unfortunately, a few dripped FC drops made a thin layer between the glass plate and the cover cloth of the jig, so I think it's better not to apply the FC to the very edge when applying the FC to the bottom side a mirror.
I practiced applying the First Contact.
At the last practice, a few dripped FC drops made a thin layer between the glass plate and the cover cloth of the jig, but today I was able to peel that thin layer quite nicely.
In today's work, I applied FC to the full extent of the jig. When I pulled the jig away from the glass plate, the edge of the FC peeled off a little.
I practiced applying the First Contact using a glass plate and a jig for the HR of SR mirrors.
