Trial of GreenX reflection from Xend Day3 AM: Installation of whitening filter for RFPD DCs

Abstract:
We installed whitening filter at LSC0 lack for GrXRFPD DC.
We also checked the PDA100A cables at POP table.

Details:
Turn off the RFPD interface circuit at 10:07 JST.
Insert the whitening filter between RFPD interface output and AA filter input (fig.2).
Turn on whitening filter and RFPD interface at 10:28 JST.
Measure spectra of GrX RFPD DC and decide the whitening setup (+12 dB overall gain and one zero pole filter is ON(fig.2). Detail will be posted by Yamamoto-kun).
Implement dewhitening filter at K1:ALS-X_ARM_REFL filter bank (fig.3). 

We also checked the POP table whether there is a cable which can be easily used for PDA100A if necessary.
Figure 4 shows the current POP table, and the cables of PDA100A for Green injection power monitor seems to be used.

I attached the spectra plot of related signals.

Following signals are taken via a same DB9 cable from LSC RFPD interface chassis.
All of these signals go through whitening filter now.
- K1:ALS-X_ARM_REFL_OUT_DQ
- K1:ALS-Y_ARM_REFL_OUT_DQ
- K1:LSC-POP_PDA1_DC_OUT_DQ
- K1:LSC-POP_PDA2_DC_OUT_DQ

In this time, our purpose is to increase a gain of the green-x signal.
For other signals, we only compared spectra before and after inserting whitening filter chassis
and there was no strange behavior.

For the green-x signal, several configuration of whitening gain and filters were checked.
With no whitening gain and filters, noise is limited by ADC noise level.
(ADC noise leve: 3e-6 [V/rHz] * 610e-6 [V/ct] * 2.3e-4 [?/? coming from foton] = 1.1e-6 [?/rHz])

Finally, we set 12dB gain and one zero/pole stage as the settings which circuit noise is beginning to be visible.
