SR3 OpLev (non definitive)
[Terrence, Matteo, Akutsu]

A non definitive OpLev setup has been mounted on SR3. The aim of this setup is to allow VIS people to continue the characterization of the suspension.
Due to the current mirror position, in order to have the beam centered on SR3 and roughly in the center of the output viewport, we had to place the light source quite close to the edge of the input viewport. Even so, the beam is not clipped.

Note: as Matteo wrote, this would probably be non definitive; but closer to the definitive, comparing to the horizontal oplev setup for SR3 very recently.laugh

I personally feel this "thorlab's tombstone for TX" way could be the definitive... let's see whether there are strange low frequency resonances or strange long-term drift or not. Anyway, for the temporal or tentative use, the setup outside of the chamber would be sufficient; inside, about the SR3's current alignment and postion, please continue to check...

I like to finish my tweet with the frequently asked question as follows:

Q: Why the oplevs for the SR mirrors are vertical, while those for PRs horizontal?
A: I don't know. Don't ask me.devil
