Comment to Started the vacuum leak test from PRM to IFI (22561)

Additional Information.

Kimura-san found that some of the nuts in the tie rods between the GV_mcf and the MCF tank, and between the MCF tank and the duct were not tightened! These could be the momentary leak of IMC.

Kimura-san checked any leaks in the 1000 flanges around the MCF tank and 400 flanges towards the PSL room. However, no leak was found. We optimistically guess the leaking point was pressed back again.

Comment to Started the vacuum leak test from PRM to IFI (22561)

When: 19/Oct./2022

Who: Kimura, Yasui, M. Takahashi and Ueda (SKS)

Task:
We performe vacuum leak test from IMMT and IFI, and found large vacuum leak with level of ~1 x 10^-9 Pam^3/s at connection between IFI and beliow duct.

We repared the leak and comfirmed level of leak was < 1 x 10^-13 Pam^3/s.

Five connection flanges remain untested.

The leak test will be continued and completed on the morning of October 20.

When: 18/Oct./2022

Who: Kimura, Yasui, Uchiyama and Ueda (SKS)

Task:
We started vacuum leak test from PRM to IFI, and found large vacuum leak >~2 x 10^-10 Pam^3/s.

As reported by Ushibasan (k-log22557), we repared the leak and comfirmed level of leak was < 1 x 10^-13 Pam^3/s.

We will continue to have leak test on 19/Oct., and comple it.

Closing IMMT chamber
2022/09/30

Mirapro, Kimura, Uchiyama

We closed the ICF203 flange at the +X+Y side of IMMT by a blank flange.
Also, we closed the K400 flange at the -Y side of IMMT by a metal Oring.

All the flanges of IMMT have been closed.

Open and Close of the Top Flange of IMM Chamber

[Mirapro people (Itoh-san, Shimizu-san), Observer: Enomoto]

They opened and closed the top flange of IMM chamber.
They replaced O-rings.
They found that a tiny piece of plastic tape was caught between the chamber and the flange (see the picture).
Note that a O-ring accidentally dropped inside the chamber when they were opening the flange, but no damages for IMMT1 were found.
I also attach the trend of IMMT1 oplev outputs.

A vacuum duct between IMM and PRM has been connected
@2/23

A vacuum duct between IMM and PRM has been connected.
In this work, the working place was sandwiched by two KOACH filters.

We found height difference between the flange of IMM and PRM by 11mm because of tilting up of beam level by 1/300 from the MMT2 mirror in IFI.
So that bellows part in the duct was forced to be deformed largely.

A vacuum duct between IMM and IFI vacuum chamber has been connected
@2/22-23

Mirapro connected a vacuum duct between IMM and IFI.
During this work KOACH filters were placed at a 400 dia. flange of both IMM(PRM side) and IFI(GVmc side).

When we put the duct on supporting legs, we found the legs were too tall.
So that we removed the legs and asked MESCO to make the legs 10cm shorter.
The duct was suspended 5cm higher than designed position.

We started connection work of a duct between IFI and GVmc.
In this work, we placed three KOACH filters at a 400 dia. flange of both IMM(PRM side) and IFI(MCE side) and between IFI and GVmc.

After connecting the duct between IFI and GVmc, we noticed that we could connect the duct between IMM and IFI without the legs.
We connected the duct between IMM and IFI and all the flanges for the KOACH filters were closed.

In the tomorrow morning (2/23) we received the shorter legs.
We placed two KOACH filters at a 400 dia. flange of both IMM(PRM side) and IFI(MCE side).
The duct between IMM and IFI was once removed from the vacuum chambers, put on the shorter legs, and connected again.
