Comment to Violin mode measured and observed (13654)
I wonder why the numbers of peaks are larger than 16 (number of fibers). It is my naive guess, but cross sections of fibers are not perfect circles. So,
each fiber can two spitted modes. Numbers of observed modes are less than 32.

And Q of modes looks on the order of 10^4 at least. It is fine.

Leak check at EXC
N. Kimura and K. Yamamoto

Kimura-san and Kazuhiro checked leakage at EXC; flange of cross tube above cryostat and small flange on side of cryostat.
The latter has no problem. But we found leakage on former. As Takashi Uchiyama suggested,we add 5 cramps and fasten all screws
(80 Nm).

ETMX was delivered at Toyama !
The sapphire mirror, one of key part for bKAGRA phase 1 (and first KAGRA "practical not spare" sapphire mirror),
in other word, ETMX, was delivered around 9 am today (Friday, 26th of Jan 2018) at University of Toyama for
HCB (bonding of sapphire ears and magnets).
Although I was worried about terrible weather (heavy snow !) around Toyama,
actually, no problems and delay happened.

I would like to appreciate support of administration office of faculty of science and
efforts of young persons (Ushiba(ICRR), Kitazawa, Yokokawa, Yoshioka(Uniersity of Toyama)).

HCB mission will be started on Monday of the next week. According to current schedule,
ETMX will arrie at KAGRA site on 9th of March (Fri).

Status of X front cryostat (accelerometer)
Luca Naticchioni, Syuhei Miyata, Kazuhiro Yamamoto

Yesterday(27th of June 2017), Luca investigated accelerometer at University of Toyama.
In principle, it is OK.

Today (28th of June 2017), Luca and Kazuhiro (and Miyata-kun, undergraduate student) brought
accelerometer and apparatus to KAGRA site.
Luca checked accelerometer on table in front of clean booth for cryostat.
It works.
So, we installed in cryostat.
However, output looks noisy. Cables connected to cryostat directly could be an issue
because we did not use it in test on the table.

We brought out acceleroemter from cryostat again.
Our intention is as follows;
Performance check outside cryostat via above cable on Friday (the day aftr tomorrow).

Sapphire blank bulk with sapphire ears and sapphire fiber holders moved from University of Toyama to KAGRA site !
Takafumi Ushiba, Kieran Craig, Toshikazu Suzuki, Takayuki Tomaru, Rahul Kumar, Kazuhiro Yamamoto

Strength test of HCB between sapphire blank bulk and sapphire ears at University of Toyama ended.
They survived in three weeks.

Unfortunatly, HCB between one of sapphire spacers for magnets and sapphire bulk
did not work (but it is not fault of HCB itself. We are afraid that this spacer was not
on bulk). Takafumi Ushiba and Kiran Craig measured position of jig for this spacer
and other spacers. They are sure that jig position is appropriate.

They and Kazuhiro packed box which includes sapphire blank bulk and put into Pelican case.
Kazuhiro drove his car (Kieran, Takafumi and HCB box were in his car).
HCB box arrived at clean booth for BS. Kieran and Takafumi put glue between spacer and bulk.
And now we wait until glue is dry.

Takayuki, Suzuki-san, and Rahul picked up parts of sapphire fiber holders at logistic center
(unfortunately, parts were not delivered in morning at University of Toyama). They washed in
ultrasonic bath at University of Toayama and brought.

Vacuum furnace at University of Toyama
Yoichi Aso, Kazuhiro Yamamoto

They test vacuum furnace at University of Toyama. It works. But overshoot of
temperature is an issue. Nevertheless target temperature is 120 degree,
actual one was about 170 degree ! Yoichi called Sato-san (KEK).
Even if we use PID control, it is not so easy if target temperature is low.

Yoichi tries on Thursday (the day after tomorrow) again..
Anyway, if somebody would like to use, s/he must investigate how to control temperature
IN ADVANCE.

Progress in the last one week.

27th of Feb (Mon)

all cryocoolers (four cryocoolers for cryostat and two cryocoolers for cryoduct) started to work
(16:50 JST). We measured vibration before and after start of cooling. We observed cryocooler generates
vibration. Details are being analyzed.

HCB mission at Toyama (week of 27th of Feb 2017)
Kieran Craig and Takafumi Ushiba

HCB mission started at University of Toyama !

Kieran and Takafumi prepared in clean room.
Faro was also carried into clean room (Kitazawa-kun (undergraduate student of University of Toyama) and
Kazuhiro (now, he belongs to University of Toyama) supported).

Only problem is detergent. It must be neutralized (otherwise, chemical reaction happens on surface of Aluminum).
Unfortunately, it was not delivered in this week. On Monday of next week, we can wash part, we hope.

In the next three weeks, we repeats HCB practices a few times.

Status at X front on 24th of February 2017(accelerometers)
Kazuhiro Yamamoto, Nobuhiro Kimura

Kazuhiro checked status of acceleromters in the morning.
All cryocoolers were stopped around 13:00.

Horizontal accelerometer
Error signal around 13:00 is between +7V and -13V.
(Before cooling, it was between +13V and -13V).
Contrast defect increased.

Vertical accelerometer
Output : +3.6V (10:10)
So, direction (sign) for compensation during cooking is NEGATIVE.
Kazuhiro adjusted. At 14:05, output was -30mV.

There are three SR560. Kazuhiro checked and found there is no large difference from point of view of noise.

Both accelerometers

Contribution of cryocooler for cryoduct on BS side is quite large.
When it is turned off, output of both accelerometer is small.
Whichever cryocoolers for main cryostat work or not, outputs of accelerometers
are comparable. Oscilloscope shows 200Hz contribution is large. So it could be
vibration but it might be electric one. We must check.

Kimura-san released screwbas along bellows between cryocooler (for cryo duct)
and cryo duct. But no change happened.

Cooling test for X front cryostat
Kazuhiro Yamaoto posts on behalf of Nobuhiro Kimura.

All electric cables are prepared. Around 3pm, all cryocoolers for main cryostat
started to work. Cryocooler for cryo duct on BS side is also in operation.
Kimura-san and Sawada-san found water leak around screws on water pipe for
cryocooler of cryoduct inside Fabry-Perot cavity. So, this cryocooler does not work now.

Tomorrow, status should be checked. Cryocooler for cryoduct inside cavity will be also checked
whether it works. In any case, all cryocooler will be turned off around noon of Friday.
If there is no problem, cooling test starts on Monday of the next week.

Around 3 pm, finally, all four cryocoolers for main cryostat and one cryocooler

Kazuhiro measured vibration again. So, there are two kinds of spectra; without and with cryocoolers
operation !

He wrote down status of accelerometers on lab notes. Let see what happens until tomorrow morning.
Around tomorrow noon, all cryocoolers will be turned off. If we have no problems on Monday,
