WAB heating test

Heated up the wide angle baffle (WAB) by heaters attached to the WAB. From the heaters, the input would be about 0.88W; note that there is still offset heat input and thus the WAB was already in equilibrium at 26K. Then 6 h 25 min of heating up, it reached equilibrium around 38K. Note that the thermometer on the cooler head still showed a constant temperature: 15K.

From the yesterday's result, the thermal resistance was estimated 13.7 K/W, but this is  a very very rough estimate as it is actually not a constant of temperature! Assuming this value, and the WAB might accept about 0.8W from the closest duct shield's aperture, and the heater supplied 0.88W to the WAB, so in total 0.8+0.88 = 1.68W, then the temperature of the WAB can be calculated around 38K, so it seems consistent with the measurement. But need more careful treatment.

So we would like to make a graph showing the input heat vs the temperature. So we left the system, inputting 2W (from the heater) today; let's see. Assuming the thermal resistance is a constant value as mentioned above (but this won't be true, as some physical properties like specific heat of pure aluminum changes rapidly w. r. t the temperature in this temperature region), the temperature of the WAB would reach around 53K in the rough estimation; but this number would become larger in the actual measurement, as the rapid change of the physical property.

Moreover, doing the fitting of the time series data would bring some physical properties as well.

It seems the blade stage at the top of the WAB suspension and the suspension structure have not been disturbed by the heat input.
