- Replacement of DC power supply for ALS racks -> finished
- Replacement of a computer for k1dc0 -> gave up
- Installation of new BIO card on k1ioo1 -> gave up
= Problem =
- k1dc0 on new computer cannot establish the connection with real-time front-end.
We probably identified the cause of this problem. So we will try again on next Monday.
- IO chassis for k1ioo1 didn’t work with more than 4 BIO cards.
I haven't found the cause of this problem yet...
But I already confirmed that at least BIO cards it self are not broken.

Print this reportI reproduced the BIO problem on test bench system.
- 3 ADC + 2 DAC + 2 BO + 2 BIO = OK
- 3 ADC + 2 DAC + 2 BO + 3 BIO = Only 2 BIO cards worked
- 3 ADC + 2 DAC + 2 BO + 4 BIO = All cards didn't work
- 3 ADC + 2 DAC + 0 BO + 6 BIO = All cards worked
- 3 ADC + 2 DAC + 0 BO + 7 BIO = Depends on HIB cable.
This problem doesn't seem to depend on the card order and used PCIe slots except for the BIO card in the rightmost slot.
The rightmost PCIe slot cannot be used for BIO cards.
