ETMX Coil Driver transfer functions were measured

Sawada, TYamamoto, Darkhan,

Today we measured payload TM stage coil drivers at X-end. Each of the TM coil driver channels were measured in four different states:

  • state 0: all low-pass (LP) filters turned off;
  • state 2: LP1 turned on; LP2 and LP3 turned off;
  • state 3: LP1 and LP2 turned on; LP3 turned off;
  • state 4: LP1, LP2, and LP3 turned on.

This is the second set of such measurements (for DARM model Ver. 2). Earlier similar measurements were taken by Cory Chu and H.F. Pang in February-March - for DARM model Ver. 1 (non-cryogenic conditions). For Ver. 1, however, the collected measurements did not include information about the LP2 and LP3 responses.

These measurements will help us to improve the overall calibration accuracy at low frequencies (below and near DARM UGF).

The serial number of the measured coil driver (ETMX TM):

  • S1706257 - High-Power Coil Driver

Other installed payload coil driver serail numbers:

  • S1605026 - MNH, Low-Power Coil Driver (as a test, we also took measurements of a single channel of this coil driver in all four stages)
  • S1707393 - IM/MN, Low-Power Coil Driver
  • S1605503 - IMH, Low-Power Coil Driver

The measurement data will be analyzed in the near future.
