First contact which covered the HR surface of iKAGRA ETMY was removed this afternoon.

Almost all of the first contact was removed safely but some scratches about 2cm long were found on the HR surface. 

1. After we set wiped stainless sheets on the floor inside the vacuum chamber,

2. we tested picomotors with Miyo-san, and Kokeyama-san. 

3. Then, we came into the vacuum chamber and have secured almost all of the EQ stops that lock the mirror;

4 side screws, 4 front screws, 4 back screws, 4 under screws and 2 top screws.

4. We started to peel off the first contact from the tag located upper right.

*Deionizer, top-gun?, was not used because of the lessons learned, yesterday.

5. The first contact tore a few times but it was removed almost safely.

*Scratches with about 2cm long were found on the HR surface.

*One piece of the first contact perhaps remained on the HR surface but its size was small (width < 1mm, length < 1cm).

6. We have released all the screws and check the suspension position. 

7. Removed stainless sheet from the vacuum chamber.
