Coil Actuator Calibration

at Mitaka with help of Akutsu-san

Today, I set up a measurement system for coil actuator calibration of TMS-VIS.
Attached pictures (Fig.1 to 3) show how it is like.
You can see scar or glue like thing remains on the coil wire.
It might be better to avoid using this coil...

Then I measured the efficiency of one coil acutuators which was labeled ''No.13''.
The figure shows the results of measurement and fitted line.

From this results, the actuation efficiency of No.13 was 5.37 [g/V].
This value should be converted [N/A], however, I forgot to measure the resistance of the coil.
Tomorrow, I will check the resitance and measure other coil's efficiency.

Anyway, compared to the results (raw data) of previous measurements, this result seemed reasonable.

I hope the remaining is just a remaining glue (not scars) that I applied before it was baked...

note: ''Voltage'' shown in the attached figure is not the estimated actual output, but the ones shown in the display of signal generator. (see 5014 & 5020)
It should be modified...
