Prepairing for pumping down on TMSX

As we like to open the gate valve in front of the TMSX, I started some works to be done before the pumping down of the EXT chamber.

  • Inserted additional M10 screws, which should connect the bottom plate of the TMS-VIS to the top of the base plate in of the EXT. There were still unaccessible screw holes, so I inserted some number of the screws as much as possible... during the work I dropped one of the screwcrying, which went absorbed into a black hole; in other words, the bottom of the chamber cheeky.
  • Inserted Cu metal gaskets to three ICF203 flanges (with 4 Dsub9 connectors) where LVDT and geophone signals were taken out. Then tightened by a torque wrentch: 5 -> 10 -> 15Nm.
  • Detached all the white tapes in the chamber.
