Thursday 10/11, with Hirata-san and Panwei.
-
We decided on the following allocation of IM OSEMs:
- V1: #59
- V2: #60
- V3: #61
- H1: #62
- H2: #63
- H3: #64
- We added the EQ stop brackets for the corners of the IRM and used them to immobilize the IRM top plate.
- We added the OSEM-holder panels to the IRM top plate.
- We installed the vertical OSEMs per the above table. The OSEM pusher screws had already been set to the nominal position of 6.5 mm.
- We installed the IRM side plates. which already had OSEM-holder plates installed, but no OSEMs.
- The horizontal OSEM flags were a little low in the cutouts for the OSEM so we checked the BF keystone height, but it was very close to nominal (65.5 mm). We locked the keystone at nominal to save confusion in subsequent adjustments.
- The H2 and H3 OSEM flags were also offset a little towards -L (or the IRM was offset in +L). We need to diagnose and correct this before installing the horizontal OSEMs, so we held off on those for now.
- Takahashi-san advised us that the horizontal offset on the F0 keystone observed on Wednesday would probably correct itself when compression was applied, and sure enough, it did. Hirata-san found that it was reduced to about 0.8 mm at 20 mm compression, and almost gone at 28 mm compression.
