WAB finalize at IXC ongoing...
First of all, I found an extension bar for the heat-link VIS had been already inserted at the back of the WAB suspension. One of the screw seemed again sticked out into the duct open area... (Fig 9, 10, 11)
Setting a burndy connector for thermometers of the WAB
Finally I identified an open burndy connector in the IXC chamber; this should be for the WAB. The ID seemed P23. As the connector lay in the far-away side of the WAB, I cut some of PEEK ties which bundled electric wires from the connector and extended the wire so that the connector can stand close to the WAB. Then I fixed it on the breadboard (Fig 1 and 2).
Tighten tags of the soft heat links to the WAB
Using a M5 screw with a flat washer and a spring washer, each of four soft (6N Al) heat links were tightened to the flanges supporting the WAB. The other sides of the heat links are not yet tightened. Fig 3 is {-X, -Y}, Fig 4 is {-X, +Y}, Fig 5 shows both {-X, +/-Y}, Fig 6 shows both {+X, +/-Y}, and Fig 7 shows {+X,+Y}.
By the way, I observed the surface of the sapphire mirror from the AR side via a small gap between the WAB and the recoil mass. To my eyeballs, it seemed clean (Fig 8).
