In reference to klog entry 6022!
The bar that was in the way for putting the WAB into saving-mode turned out to be obligued! We measured a distance of the upper part of the bar to the vertical T-beam sidewards to the bar of ~63mm (picture 1) while the bar on the opposite side has only ~49mm distance at the same position (picture 2). We verified that the lower part of both bars shows approximately the same distance to the respective T-beams (pictures 3 and 4).
Anyway, we told Kimura-san the issue and he discussed it with Tomaru-san. In the end, they decided to remove the bar in order to widen its notch. We did the job and handed the bar to Tomaru-san. So, the cavity-side of EYC currently has no cooler extension.
The reason for the obligueness is probably due to an already obligued cooler head. We could confirm this by a water-leveler!
As this could happen again for the other cryostats, we should pay a lot attention to this issue. Not only will this be a problem for the WAB, but also clip the duct opening!
