Installation work of ALS system began today.
The optical layout design is Fig1.
There are two similar system for X and Y arm cavity.
- We brought ALS optics from U.toyama into Kamioka in this morning.
- We began to install from this afternoon.
* We assembled posts and mounting bases(Thorlabs/BA2).
* We put optics roughly.
* We aligned M1, M2, M3 and PBS1. (Fig2 and 3)
Since the fiber installation manufacturer begin to install the 50m fiber from Wednesday, we need to complete installation work by tomorrow and check if the beam can be coupled to the attached fiber.
We will continue installation working tomorrow.
