IMMT1 fixing

Ohishi, Nagano and Tanioka

Last week, we replaced screws for cramping test mass wires.
In addition, we modified cramping in order to make suspension points same height at IM.
Then we attached wires and prepared to hang the mirror.

Today, we installed a mirror to the suspension.
Since we found that the mirror and IM was tilted as attached photo, we modified by adjusting bellows.
After that, TM seemed good.

Then we put a laser displacement sensor to monitor the length change.
Its behavior seemed to be good.

The attached picture shows modified bellows.
The height is different due to compensation for the tilt.

In addition, we confirmed that the behavior of IM is healthy.
Before we replaced screws, according to Ohishi-san, IM tended to stick to the magnets for damping IM.
After replacement, however, IM did not show such behavior.
As a conclusion, the modification works well so far.
