Test of LVDT driver

Today I superficially checked the LVDT driver I was planning to use for the SRM suspension.

I tested the 4 channels of each card. The Ch#0 of the left card is not working and the Ch#3 of the left card presents a lot of noise. The right card is working well.

For this test I connected the SF LVDT to the Ch#1 and the BF LVDT to the Ch#3. We can see the Ch#1 (signal K1:IOP-SR2_MADC0_TP_CH13)  and the CH#3 (signal K1:IOP-SR2_MADC0_TP_CH15) in the figure 1 and figure 2.

The peak at 960[Hz] is a leaking from the channel #31 of the ADC#0 (for timing).

LVDT Driver box: S1807786

  • Channel 0: Not working

  • Channel 3: Ok

Note: I used SR2 system for this test.
