Installing the BRT of TMSY

Yokogawa, Sugimoto, Akutsu

We have installed the BRT (beam reducing telescope) part of TMSY into the EYT chamber. The fine alignment should be required, and will be done from the next week. Note that the temporal set up to extract temporal DC-"TRY" siganl which someone prepared is now destroyed.

  1. First, aligned the body of the fixed stage (along with the top plate put on it) by slightly hooking up it with three slings, and screwed to the base plate.
  2. Then aligned the top plate on the fixed stage body by slightly hooking up it with four slings and four M10 eye bolts (Hirata-san gave us), and screw to the body carefully.
  3. Meaured the tilt on the top plate
  4. Brought the box of the BRT close to the clean booth; did some tricky treatment to go through a narrow collidor between the pillars of clean booth and the ducts on the floor; the plate under the wooden box was used to literally "overcome" obstacles.
  5. Hooked up the BRT and down into EYT, and roughly alingned, and tightened by screws.
  6. Removed covers for each optic.
