I prepared the medm user interface for the stepping motors, especially for fishing rods.
For IP motors, you can actuate the motors independently if you use the same program.
But now I am preparing another code to actuate 3 motors at the same time to move the position of the IP stage in L, T, and Y.
The system is almost same as picomotor. The details will be described at wiki page.
How to use:
1. go to k1script
2. enter the command
step_start **
**: EPICS name after K1:STEPPER_ as written in wiki page. (ex. step_start PR0_GAS)
3. check the medm screen which is accesible from the sitemap.
4. press update to check the current motor position
***NOTE: The current motor position will be returned to zero, if you switch off the power. (I am thinking to store the numbers somewhere so that we can track how far we actuate the motors even after the blackout.)
5. If you want to change the accerelation or velocity of the motor, just enter the numbers.
6. Enter the relative steps in order to actuate the motors. (You do not have to press the buttons like picomotors. As soon as you enter the numbers, the motor would move.)
Press STOP if you want to abort the actuation.
