BS Installation
With Ohishi-san, Fabian, Enzo, Hirata-san, Yoshioka-kun.

Today:

* We worked on getting the payload completely aligned, using the OL on the BS, the BF LVDT on the keystone, and the various OSEMs as references.
* Partway through we realized that the BF keystone was locked so we released it.
* After some work we got good all-round alignment except that both the LVDT and the vertical OSEMs said the IM was a bit low, so we tried using the BF FR to raise it.
* However initially the FR stepper would only go down (whether told to go up or down). Fortunately we were able to trace the problem to a broken wire at the end of the adapter cable on the BF cap and repair it.
* After that we were able to get back to the mid-range LVDT reading noted during calibration, and also get much better centering on all the vertical OSEMs. (We had not moved the vertical OSEMs in/out since the test hang, so they were already very close to adjusted.) We tweaked the V1 OSEM slightly to allow for a slight pitch of the IM relative to the test hang (for the same BS angle per the OL).
* Hirata-san and Yoshioka-kun rearranged the magnets on the SF damper ring to be suitable for three Cu segments instead of two.
* Enzo replaced some cling-wrap on the connections on top of the PI for the F0 GAS and PI yaw steppers with proper vacuum compatible tubing.
* We tried to enable the OSEM damping loops but noted an issue with the realtime model and/or MEDM screen whereby many of the controls in the IMDAMP screen cannot be clicked on (the cursor changes to a crossed red circle and the PV info panel says "RTYP: Channel not Supported by Gateway" (instead of "RTYP: ao" for working controls). We need to investigate and fix this.
