[Stefan, Keiko]
Attached plots show the temperature of the laser room [deg C], MC REFL PD [V], REFCAV TRANS PD [V], and REFCAL slow control (feeded back to laser crystal temperature)l calbrated in the laser frequency [MHz]. As you can see in the plots it seems that laser room's temperature affects the controls: we think REFCAV length is changed by the temperature fluctuation of the room. The cycle of air conditioner is 0.8 mHz. Currently REFCAV house is not pumped, so the temperature fluctuation around the cavity is same as the room. As shown in the top right plot, several MHz of the laser freq is actuated which is in the range of the actuation, so we think our hypothesis is reasonable.
Stefan suggested that even slower drifts shown in the plots may be from the tidal effect.
memo:
- mephisto laser crystal efficiency is 3GHz/V
- humidity fluctuation (not shown in the plot) is +-10% relative humidity
