Bottom Filter assembling

[Takahashi, Ishizaki, Sato, Shindo, Miyo, Okutomi]

Bottom Filter assembling

  • The Bottom Filter (BF) is carried into the clean booth and assembled (not completed)
    • New wire receptacle cannot accept the new maraging wire with thicker neck
      • This bad guy was suppose to be at the keystone of the BF
      • The maraging wire cannot go through the gap of the narrow part of the hole
      • We need additional machining on the narrow part of the hole to make it wide
        • To be honest, it's difficult to explain it here with my tired brain
        • Please ask us if you want to know the details
      • On the other hand, a new receptacle on the cap of the BF is replaced successfully
    • We engraved S/Ns on the clamp bases of the side of the BF from 1 to 14
    • We attached the attachment ring of the BF damper on the BF
  • We measured weight of assembly of the BF: 105.7 kg
  • We checked that we have most of stuffs to cable the coils of the BF damper and release sensors
    • We still need some stuff such as heat-shrinkable tubes, nippers and tweezers
