Dummy payload assembled
-
The dummy payload (DP) is assembled and put on an end plate of the EQ-stop
-
NOTE:
- Cap screws on the end plate which support the DP from the bottom don't have enough length
- We now use them in upside down to gain the height
- We need to order longer full-threaded screws later
-
NOTE:
-
Release sensors are set on the end plate, too.
-
We cannot obtain the signal from the release sensors now
- Because the indication circuit box is in Mitaka
- The box will be sent in this few days
- We need to connect cables from the release sensors to the box after the delivery
-
We cannot obtain the signal from the release sensors now
-
An end plate of the EQ-stop for the Bottom Filter is assembled
- Now the EQ-stop building has two floors (DP, BF)
- Next: BF assembling
BF damper pre-assembling
-
The attachment ring is assembled, ready to set on the BF
- This ring has primary coil assemblies
-
NOTE:
- The company mismachined a digging mark which shows upper surface of the ring to be on lower surface
-
I and Sato-san decided to use the ring in upside down
- Because all the other machinings are correct and to avoid further confusion
- The position where the mark should be is now marked with a kapton tape
-
The ring has now only vertical primary coils as written in the installation procedure
- Horizontal primary coils will be attached after the BF reached at the height of the cross chamber

-
The coils are not cabled yet
- We are waiting a delivery of some missing stuff
-
Secondary coils are left without assembling
- They will be attached at the same moment as the horizontal primary coils
- After the discussion about cabling, I will assemble them partially
