We first took photos of the laser and detector of the optical lever for MCe, so that we can reproduce the current configuration of the optical lever. The data of the optical lever output signal had been also recorded.
Then we assembled the tilt sensor component. We placed the laser part and sensor part of the tilt sensor on the breadboard, where the optical lever components were sitting. We tried to find a configuration of the tilt sensor without moving the optical lever, but we could not find an appropriate solution.
We rearranged the whole configuration including the optical lever, and finally found a good configuration both for the optical lever and tilt sensor. We attached the detector part to the tilt sensor and made a fine alignment.
