Setup of filter chain

[Takahashi, Sato, Horiuchi]

  1. Replaced one M6 studs bolt to longer one for the BF keystone.
  2. Attached additional spring to the bolt head and connected the spring to the bridge on the BF cup.
  3. Pulled up the keystone with the spring so as to be ~68mm in height.
  4. Lifted up the F0 keyston to -6mm.
  5. Released the BF. Removed the 440-g ballast from the BF cup. The BF height was 68/68/74mm.

  1. Fixed the blades for vertical FR in the F0.
  2. Attached the yaw FR in the F0.
  3. Mounted the ballast on the top plate of F0 so that the height of keystone can be -6mm (big cylinder 25kg + circle plate 5kg x4 + big block 1.8kg x2 + small block 0.4kg = total 49kg).
  4. The BF height was 68/68/74mm, and the keystone height was 67.5mm (4000count). Then the TM height was -11.2mm (see klog)
  5. Removed the balllast from the BF cup (moving mass 2.4kg x2 = total 4.8kg). The F1, F2, and F3 went to the operation range.
  6. Set the height of F0 keystone to -23mm. The BF height was 75/74/73mm, and the keystone height was 67.5mm (4400count). Finally the TM was lifted up by 4mm.

  1. Fixed the balllast on the BF cup (small block 0.4kg - moving mass 2.4kg x2 - small disk 0.1kg x2 = total -4.6kg).
  2. Compressed the 6 blades of F0 to +10mm.
  3. Adjusted the ballast on the top plate of F0 so that the height of keystone can be -23mm (big cylinder 25kg + circle plate 5kg x6 + big block 1.8kg x2 = total 58.6kg).
  4. Checked the behavior of each filter.

  1. Compressed the 6 blades of F0 by 4mm ( to +14mm).
  2. Recovered the yoke of F0 actuator.

  1. Set the height of secondary coil to -20mm.
  2. Calibrated the LVDT in the F0 (plot1).
  3. Measured the rage of FR (plot2).
  4. The height of F0 keystone was -19.0mm with the ballast (25 +5x5 +1.8 +0.5 = 52.3kg).

  • Replaced the blades from old BF-type to old BF-type double and new BF type for F0 FR.
  • Measured the rage of FR again (plot).
  • The height of F0 keystone was set to -18.5mm with the ballast (25 +5x5 +1.8 +0.5 +0.4 = 52.7kg).
