I checked with the manufacturer about running the Picomotor 24 hours a day.

I think that it would be challenging for 8742 to continuously run for 1 year without any issue.
Like other electronic products, I would suggest turning it off when not used.

24-hour stability is honestly not likely to be guaranteed, and we should consider a way to put the Picomotor in the chassis and control the power with a relay switch instead of something like a smart plug.
We would like to discuss this matter and proceed.
