Today we was able to successfully detach the cryopayload from the BF in the morning owing to yesterday work so we started preparing to extract the Pre-Isolator(PI) in the afternoon.
- After the disconnection of the cryopayload we continued to remove the LVDT coils from BF stage to extract the Type-A tower.
- The cable from the payload crawled along the wire that hangs the payload from the BF so that it wouldn't get in the way when pulling out the tower.
- Assembled the scaffolding to pull the Pre-Isolator out.
- We unplugged all the cables from the feedthrough.
- Turned off all the power of the circuit, includign the function generator for the LVDT reference signal and the stepper motor for the cryopayload.
- We unplugged a few cables inside the feedthroughs, but there are still a lot of cables left.
- Tomorrow, we will be able to pull out the PI if we retrieve the remaining cables in the feedthrough and install a jig to fix the wires hanging the F1.
