Observation Shift Report, 5pm-1am, 15th Apr.
Interferometer could be locked from this evening. Then laser power was 2.7W and interferometer lock was continued for more than 30min. However, once after increasing laser power, interferometer was unstable. So we reduced laser power and recovered the stability. Detailed logs are following;

9:04pm Lock-loss
9:12pm Locked w/ 5.1W
9:15pm Lock-loss
9:25pm Locked, but soon lock-loss.
9:36pm Locked w/ 4.1W
9:44pm Lock-loss
9:54pm Locked w/2.9W. # Observation flag was not turned on.
10:29pm Observation flag was turned on.

Fluctuation of interferometer sensitivity was large in this shift term.

* Important Change Information *

As reported earlier, all the segments after 21:13 JST is with DARM2 FM5 (resG2.9)

Input power is different between the segments. The last longest segments was with 2.9W at the IMC OUTPUT.

The first segment was with 2.5W.
We increased to the usual 5W but the lock did not last. So we reduced the power to 4W, and it did not work.
Important Change Information
  • As reported earlier, all the segments after 21:13 JST is with DARM2 FM5 (resG2.9)
  • Input power is different between the segments, see the main post.

[Supplimental Information]

With 4W or 5W, lock doesn't last more than few minutes. Nakano-kun is suspencting OMC PDs in vacuum are saturating. I checked when a lock was lost with 4W input. See the first attachment. At least for this lockloss, it didn't seem because of the OMC PD saturation. They are saturating very often during TRANSIT_TO_OMCDC (second and third attachments)
