Mysterious behavior of

[Uchiyama, Ohishi, Komori]

We tried to confirm the sign of BS coils and to diagonalized the actuator efficiencies of pitch and yaw motions.

The displacement of each motion in terms of optical lever is measured with adding some offset to each of 4 coils respectively.

That result is as follows.

offset of H1 offset of H2 offset of H3 offset of H4 output of pitch output of yaw pitch displacement from non-offset state  yaw displacement from non-offset state
0 0 0 0 -62.5 60.0 - -
5000 0 0 0 -61.0 58.0 1.5 -2.0
10000 0 0 0 -59.3 56.0 3.2 -4.0
-5000 0 0 0 -64.3 62.0 -1.8 2.0
0 5000 0 0 -65.4 64.0 -2.9 4.0
0 -5000 0 0 -60.3 56.3 2.2 -3.7
0 0 5000 0 -53.8 100 8.7 40
0 0 -5000 0 -71.2 15.3 -8.7 -45
0 0 0 5000 -46.4 93.3 16 33
0 0 0 -5000 -77.6 23.0 -15 -37

Even if there are any non-diagonalized elements in the optical levers and in the actuators, or difference of the sign.

this result cannot be explained.

Therefore we have to consider the reason, for example the coupling of length, and measure the details.
