Today around 1:00 pm we noticed that ITMX_F2_GAS coil output suddenly saturated, while the others ITMX GAS filters seems to work fine.
This is a bit suspicious, because usually the GAS filters drift when the temperature is changing and consequently the coils will saturated when the drifts are larger then the actuation dynamic range.
So we took a look the last days trend data and we observed that a temperaturature drifs is going on, but it is not so large to explaine the F2 saturation.
Pic1 shows the trend data: we can see that there is a temperature variation and according to this F1,F2, and F3 coil outputs are drifting.
At some point we can clearly see (around -10000s) the F2 output to reach the value - 15000 counts and after that go fast to -20000 (setted limit switch in the GAS DAMP MEDM). (See Pic2)
We quickly checked the limit switchs in DAMP_GAS and GAS_COIL_OUTPUT and we discovered that in the first one the limit value is 20000 while in the second is 15000 (see Pic3): this explain the suddenly saturation of F2.
